“LAM has an astonishingly supportive, collaborative, and encouraging environment. From all the teachers I’ve worked with, I can confidently say that every teacher here is focused on growth, potential, and overall supporting their students in any way needed. Through LAM, I’ve also met so many diverse musicians, role models, and friends that share the same ideals as I do. Most notably, I’ve developed a fervent passion for music performance, and I can’t imagine myself in any other way.”
— Kaylynn, age 17

The Louisville Academy of Music welcomes all students and families inclusive of race, color, national and ethnic origin, gender, familial status, gender identity, sexual orientation, immigration status, disability, political affiliations or beliefs. It does not discriminate in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or any other school-administered programs.

We believe music is for everyone.
