We bring music and stories into schools, teach creative music classes, and bring live musical experiences to those who may not otherwise have access.

Last year, LAM hosted free music events around the community at 40+ locations, reaching more than 6,000 people.

As part of our need-based scholarship program, our faculty provided free one-on-one music lessons at Western Middle School for the Arts, Johnson Middle School, and Grace James Academy. Our Creative Music Making residencies took place at Kentucky School for the Blind, Brooklawn, and YMCA Safe Place.

In addition to residencies, we offer workshops and performances at schools and community centers around the greater Louisville area. Keep an eye out for LAM in your neighborhood!
