Ella Anderson (she/her)
Ella Anderson is a music therapist, arranger, and percussion instructor in the Kentuckiana area. She earned her Bachelor's in Music Therapy at the University of Louisville. Ella is a licensed music therapist (MT-BC) that contracts through Restorative Sound LLC, serving in psych hospitals and autism schools. Ella is also an ensemble director for the Louisville Leopard Percussionists. She serves as ensemble director for both steel pan ensembles, an instructor for the advanced ensemble, and makes over a dozen arrangements of pop, rock, and jazz tunes each season for multiple ensembles. Ella is also a percussion sectional coach for multiple middle school and high school band programs in JCPS and the surrounding Kentuckiana area, working both in the concert and competitive settings. She is incredibly excited to be joining as percussion faculty for the Louisville Academy of Music (LAM) to expand her teaching in school band programs and to offer private lessons. Ella is an active performer, playing in community ensembles including the Louisville Winds and Brass Band of Louisville. and frequently gigs for local orchestras and theatre shows.
