This course, designed for LAM’s Magnolia Scholar students, but open to similarly advanced learners, will cover topics related to music theory, form and analysis, tied to a real piece of music. Each lesson will include examples from Jean Sibelius’s Symphony no. 2. Participation in this class will also include a trip to hear the Louisville Orchestra perform the work at the Kentucky Center on January 30th (ticket price included in tuition!).
