LAM recommends at least one cycle of Mini Music Makers for any young child before starting music lessons.
Start your little one's musical journey with confidence and joy! Mini Music Makers is a class for young children which prepares them for private instrumental or vocal lessons. Foundations of music will be taught in a fun and welcoming environment, developing your child’s listening, concentration, and fine & gross motor skills. Through classic children’s songs, games, and activities students develop creativity and independence, which will help them seamlessly begin private lessons at LAM. Classes focus on a variety of fundamentals such as rhythm, basic written notation, scale tones, listening skills, and fine and gross motor development.

Anna Johnston,
Piano and Early Childhood Music
Anna is a dedicated music teacher with 25 years of experience specializing in music, piano, and flute for children up to age 6. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Anglia Ruskin University, a Piano Teaching Diploma from ABRSM, and a Kindermusik certification.
Her background includes teaching in a bilingual preschool in Berlin, where she wove music into daily learning for young children. Anna creates fun, engaging classes that build confidence and address each child's individual needs.
