Group Classroom at the Louisville Academy of Music
Start your little one's musical journey with confidence and joy! Mini Music Makers is a class for young children which prepares them for private instrumental or vocal lessons. Foundations of music will be taught in a fun and welcoming environment, developing your child’s listening, concentration, and fine & gross motor skills. Through classic children’s songs, games, and activities students develop creativity and independence, which will help them seamlessly begin private lessons at LAM. Classes focus on a variety of fundamentals such as rhythm, basic written notation, scale tones, listening skills, and fine and gross motor development.
LAM recommends at least one cycle of Mini Music Makers for any young child before starting music lessons. Material is geared at 4 and 5 year olds but please reach out if to see if this class is a good fit for your family.
$250 per student per 10-week cycle (a multi-class discount of 10% applies if you enroll 2+ children in a cycle)
